Candle Maintenance

For optimal burn, keep your wood wick trimmed to about 1/8", and clean off any burnt wood from previous use. If your wood wick wont stay lit, it is because the wick is too long, or it needs to be trimmed and cleaned of charred material. For cotton wick, make sure to trim before each burn. It is important for your first burn to allow your candle to burn until the full surface has melted - this ensures that your candle reaches a full melt pool and burns evenly before blowing out. Extinguishing too soon can cause the wax to tunnel

Make sure when burning your candle you keep in eyesight and out of reach of children, pets or any flammable objects.
